Their unconditional love and support will not fade
Hard times will come, as they always do
Just step back and think of what really matters to you
The people who’ve touched your life in such a way
That no matter what happens; they are there at the end of the day
Unreserved compassion are found in few
Stay loyal to these people – they are genuine and true
Hold on to the memories of the ones who let you down
But pick yourself up, and lift your head off the ground
In the end it won’t matter who disappointed you
The ones who didn’t stick around, or those who were untrue
Those who really care will still be around
Lending a hand, whenever life seems to get you down
So the next time someone hurts you
And you can’t understand why
Don’t turn on life and question
