I’m in the air all day today! Going back to Toronto… I will update/blog when I get there. I will be bringing the lappy onto the plane – so I plan on clicking out a few rants and posts or two.

If Rent were playing I’d go see it. Alright, so New York is hype, yo. Alon
and I went to a museum today that I really liked. Mostly because we spent over
an hour in the Earth Science room looking at rocks! Most of them were from Ontario and British Columbia,
because the best things come out of Canada. I got to show off my mad
rock identifying skills…(Sam, shut up. I know you just called me a loser.) There
were dinosaurs there too! *rawr* A lot of the bones came from Alberta, which I suspected. I got some
pictures, I added them on my Flickr account, that you can get to in the side bar.

Afterwards we went to China town, which is totally stellar.
I asked Alon on Thursday if we could go to it, and he didn’t seem to keen, but
it’s really nice. We met up with Lindsay for some chow at an over crowded Chinese
restaurant, it was good and Lindsay is just as interesting and nice in person
as she is online. …Well, not that I expected her to be boring and a bitch, but
whatever.

Alon doesn’t really let me do ‘tourist’ee things… at least
not while he is around. Like seeing the Statue of Liberty and he smacks his
head when I get excited to see Times Square. I
really need to come here with The Midget or my sister, two women that will get
very excited about every tiny detail with me. Or Samie, because she would at least pretend to be excited for me. I’m still having a fantastic time
though. I am, however, going on the Sex and the City tour whether he likes it
or not. It’s really just something I *have* to do. When I told my mom she said “why
don’t you just go on a bus and throw your money out of the window to all the
people who will actually use it on something useful.� …I see where I get my cynicism.

Fortunately, Alon has school all week, so I will go out and
do all the crazy tourist stuff. (I am making sure to pay off my credit card
bill tonight!! Jimmy Choo!!!!) Anyway, just thought I should do a general
update. NYC is stellar, I’m not dreaming about Gordo anymore… (but really… he’s a hard man to get over. *sigh*) but I think that’s
because I haven’t really had a solid nights sleep since I’ve been here. No, not
because we’re up all night together. Get your minds out of the gutters, but
because… I don’t know. I just don’t sleep. There are a lot of noises… and I
miss my internet! Haha. Grade A nerd.

Speaking of Grade A nerds, Alon has been posting for the
last 2.5 hours. I had to actually set a time limit so that I wouldn’t get
ignored all night. Although he has just passed his 2.5 hour limit and is now
supposed to be editing his book, but I can clearly see him reading Feministe. …I
think he thinks I’m not watching.
