I do not "force my religion down peoples' throats", as some atheists say, and I am certainly not some extremist. Some atheists think they're the ones being insulted and discriminated, when in reality, Christians are being persecuted both verbally and physically worldwide. They're being bashed, beaten, and even killed. While I have no problem with people not believing in God, I think if atheists really hated us so much, they would stop and leave us alone. I mean, take a look at other religions that are NOT being criticized. I've even witnessed a guy defend a Buddhist and then later made fun of a Christian's beliefs. Atheists need to learn to except that not everyone is not who you want them to be and not everything goes your way. That also applies to some Christians, as well. Either way, people need to except and simply back-off if the person is not interested. There's millions of people in the world that all have different cultures and beliefs. Yet, atheists continue to hate on Christians. They take down anything Christian-related and make us look like the bad guys. Then they have the nerve to put up posters on billboards and buses saying "God is not real", "there is no God", etc. It bugs me because it's just hypocritical. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to stereotype or anything (please excuse me if I am). There are some friendly atheists, too, but the bottom line is, atheists should stop trying to force their beliefs on us, and we won't do the same. Treat each other like regular individuals just trying to get by in life. Doesn't matter if you're Christian, atheist, or even Hindu. We're all people. That's all. I’m a Christian and have to agree.
