Monday Love: Blah edition

I am les tired.
First things first, that song I was listening to yesterday, One Evening by Feist… remixed by VV: here it is. It’s really good, so crank your speakers.
Brother Andy Pandy has done a response to my hydrogen post over at Filthy Crotch.
Google is making a horrible mistake! Kids across the nations will be so dissapointed that he Bush doesn’t show up when "miserable failure" is entered.
Generally speaking, fun with feminists flickr is funny, but today’s is absolutely hilarious. So i’ve taught the boys how to win my heart, with the virtual flowers… Now, get win my sex just propose…mmmkay? Actually, just a ring in general and I’m all yours.
You know what makes me love THIS monday?? I just got three packages in the mail! One from my mommy, one from my internet friend Stacy!! and … one I don’t know, but it looks like a CD so it may be from internet friend Chuck who ends me almost 3 CDs a month. AND its his birthday today… Happy Birthday Chuck/Crabdad/John!! I love how internet people have like 5 names.
OH! I’m wrong its from Amy Seeley!! She sent me my very own copy of her cd!! With a note and everything! Ooooh that just made her one of my absolute favorite singers on the planet. Thanks Amy!
My mom on the other hand sent me old birth control pills, an old bank card, some of my own socks, my tax refund cheque and a plane sized package of trail mix. hahaha thanks mom. I love you.
At the Grist Mill, David Roberts, does a first rate rant about environmentalism after being compared to/called a rapist.
Speaking of the environment - I meant to mention this a long time ago, I was just waiting to get a picture of one myself, but I don’t think that’s going to happen, I always forget. Victoria has hybrid transit.
Shelly posts about the age old question "what would you do if you had a million dollars"… I’ve never been able to come up with an answer to that question… I’d go to school a lot… that’s for sure.
And finally this post at Shakespear’s Sister will keep you occupied for a while - there is a nice round up of some feminist postings. … All contained in the word "ow". Kewl.
As for good news headlines…there isn’t any really. I’ll try looking again when I have more time later this evening (after the dreaded midterm…) and maybe I’ll dig some stuff up.
