The semifinals have come to an end, and the finals are coming up! The semis ended with the following series outcomes:
Buffalo Sabers - 4 New York Rangers - 2
Ottawa Senators - 4 New Jersey Devils - 1
Detroit Red Wings - 4 San Jose Sharks - 2
Anaheim Ducks - 4 Vancouver Canucks - 1
The only outcome I didn’t really like was Vancouver being booted. Ottawa and Vancouver for the cup would have been a great game to watch. So now we have Buffalo against Ottawa and Wings against the Ducks. My picks are most definitely the Wings and Ottawa. That would be an amazing playoff series!! Then no matter who won, I’d be pretty happy. I don’t hate Detroit and “the boy” will be happy if Detroit wins, and if they don’t he’ll go bonkers and attempt to kill his cat. Not a good scene.
Anyway - Ottawa and Buffalo are up Thursday and Wings and Ducks are up Friday.
