I wonder how many posts were named that today…
So. It’s April Fools Day. My mom and my sister have already sent me their yearly “there’s a spider on your head” message (they’re not overly original) and some guy on the bus told me an elaborate story about his experience writing a book - when I asked him his books name, he then said “april fools” …
I hate April Fools Day.
Mostly because I think its pretty pointless.
However - what I DO love… are the e-mails I get from Grist Magazine on April first. I’ve been getting the Grist Magazine daily newsletter since May 13 2004. (564 of the newsletters are being stored up in my old hotmail account that I only keep alive because of the grist newsletter… its my storage ground for awesome.) Every April 1st Grist puts out a newsletter and I always fall for it. I always go “WHOA! I have to blog this!” Click the link and …voila, april fools.
Its really the only thing I like about April Fools Day… because afterwards I’m always like “uh, duh. im so stupid, thats so not plausible.”
