How cuuute is that kitten!? I want one! Speaking of cute things, allen’s blog is progressing well.
I have to leave for my midterm in an hour. …I have absolutely no idea what I’m even writing this thing on. Like, I know what the course is about. And I know the basic premise around the entire class … But specifics? I’m ski-rewed.
The test is in cultural geography. So first we need to know the history of cultural geography - old school verses new school forms of geography. Then we need to know a bunch of BS analysis about landscapes. What is a landscape? Pretty much everything, according to these geographers. The test is also going to consist of definitions. … … … That’s probably the part that I’ll be the worst on because I haven’t done any of the readings. In my defense - the readings are really boring… and very repetitive.
See you’re bored just reading about it. Anyway, after this I’m pretty much in the clear for a few days in regards to school work. Work-work as well, I have a meeting with my volunteers tonight, but uh… then its done until about Tuesday when I have a debate to do on CAN CON. Tomorrow I’m going to get my passport - I hope they don’t like… eat me for not having the same address on the papers that I do on my driver’s license.
I got my Kos ticket, I’m not sure if I should have now… it’s more reasonable in the long run for me to stay in BC over the summer - which means getting to Kos is going to cost me a pretty penny… where as from Ontario it would be peanuts. But I can’t make a 4 month decision based on how accessible Chicago is to my decision.
But I find listening to old Dave Mathews is really helping me to not care.
Off to more studying… for all of 40 minutes. I’m sure that will really help me learn enough stuff to go from knowing enough to get a C to getting an A - the good news is the midterm is only worth 10%.
