Paris

No, I’m not being politically incorrect or rude to Paris…It’s french for "late".

It was my intent to a) blog at work b) blog lots to night. Turns out I had a lot of work to do at work and for the past 3 hours I’ve been "stumble"ing. …until it said "You have seen all of the geography sites" …Depressing.

You know what’s a really stupid idea? Voting online. Well, at least I think at this point in time it’s a really stupid idea. Can you imagine how much bullshit would go on if the US could vote online? My head is racing with headlines. If the democrats win then the republicans will just call them all hacker commies and demand that the entire election be redone because it was a complete fraud. And if the republicans win all the hacker commies will devote the following 4 years to figuring out how to hack the system.

Turmoil my friends. Turmoil.

You know, if they’re going to hold the elections online - why not put all disputed laws/decisions online for the public to vote on?

Well Katie… let me tell you - That’s called a direct democracy, no? I bet Socrates wouldn’t approve. (props to who ever gets that morbid joke.) There are all sorts of problems with it, I know… People wouldn’t be making informed decisions either, likely. Unless each poll was accompanied with an "issues for dummies" 30 second video.

But then of course people would fight over the tilt of the video. "Abortion in 30 seconds or less" "AH!!! God DESIGNED those three cells!!!"

Population of the US - 301,197,000
Number of votes logged - 10, 340, 237, 834
